Reformation Celebration

On October 31st, we celebrate Reformation Day.  This is the day Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses to the door at the church in Wittenberg, Germany in 1517.  It was also the beginning of the Protestant Reformation.  He stated 95 things the church was doing wrong, according to the Bible.  This included doctrines and practices such as charging indulgences to reduce time in purgatory.

We believe in Justification by faith alone, through Christ alone!  Christians can never earn God’s love or forgiveness.  Also, We are glad we can pray straight to God, and read the Bible for ourselves without going through priests!

Our church hosts a Reformation Celebration each year.
